Pilates teaches complete coordination of body, mind and spirit. Through a specific set of exercises, we acquire control of our own body, and through proper repetition of these exercises we develop a natural rhythm and ease in everything we do, consciously or subconsciously.

I strive to help you, the client, discover the full range of potential of both your body and your mind. I want you to feel comfortable not only with the way your body looks, but also with the way it feels, and the way it moves. Through Pilates, I want to help you find and own your unique physicality. Together, we’re working towards a strength, health and grace that will eventually influence your mind as much as it will your body.

Preparation

  • Clothing—For this class, I advise you to wear clothing that you can easily move in, ideally sportswear. I strongly encourage you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, but remember that the better I can see your posture, the easier it is for me to help you.
  • Hair—It’s best to tie long hair together so that I won’t disturb your movement or concentration.
  • Shoes—You don’t need shoes for Pilates; you can wear socks or just join barefoot.
  • Towel—Make sure to bring a towel to class!

 

When

  • Thursday evening from 19:30 to 21:00
  • Cost = 5 euro per session.
  • In Pilates, we’re constantly working on ourselves, and you’ll see the best results if you join us for a series of at least ten classes. However, don’t ever hesitate to jump in for a single class or to join whenever you can! Feel free to try Pilates and find out what it can do for you!
