Body feminization surgery, also known as MTF body contouring, is a combination of surgical procedures to obtain a feminine body shape. Men often have an apple shape, which means that body fat collects mainly in the abdominal area. Women are more pear-shaped: the body fat is concentrated more in the buttocks, hips and thighs. There are various operations that can lead to a feminine body: larger breasts, a slimmer waist, wider hips and a fuller backside. During a personal consultation, Dr Maarten Doornaert will take you through the options. At 2pass Clinic body feminization surgery can be combined with facial feminization surgery during the same week.

No doubt you have already noticed. There are clear differences between the body of a man and that of a woman. Women have a smaller waist in relation to their wider hips, and have larger breasts and fuller buttocks. Body feminization surgery can give you those feminine curves. We can create these feminine curves by removing fat from some areas of the body using liposuction and injecting it in zones where it is needed, such as the hips or buttocks. If you don’t have enough body fat, you can opt for breast, hip or buttock implants.
Body feminization surgery will take you a step closer to the body that corresponds to your identity. Feeling that you are a woman is one thing – looking like a woman will complete the picture. Seeing a woman in the mirror and being recognized as a woman by the people around you – that is the aim.
Prices can vary depending on what you need but in general the following price list gives you a good indication.

Book your consultation
Would you like to take the step towards a more feminine body? Then the time has come to make an appointment with Dr Maarten Doornaert. Which procedures would you like to have done? What are your best options? Do you have enough fatty tissue or are implants needed? All these questions will be answered during your intake consultation.
Dr Maarten Doornaert will first look at what can be done with your own fatty tissue. If you can use your own body fat to augment your breasts, widen your hips or enlarge your thighs, then you run fewer risks of complications afterwards. If you do not have enough tissue, that’s no problem. In that case, Dr Maarten Doornaert will use implants during the surgery.
If you are planning a breast augmentation, Dr Doornaert can show you the impact of the surgery by way of a simulation. This consultation can be arranged at the 2pass Clinic in Antwerp, but Dr Doornaert also regularly offers consultations in London. Find out when he is in your area.
Schedule your surgery
The next step is to schedule your surgery. Check here for the next available date for your surgery. Once you have chosen a date, we will ask you to fill in a form. The form is a questionnaire that will enable us to help you as best we can during your stay at 2pass Clinic. Finally, we will ask you to transfer a deposit within seven days. After we have received your deposit, we can confirm your surgery.
Your body feminization surgery
Before your surgery, you will have a face-to-face consultation with Elli Geerts, the patient coordinator. She will go over the entire procedure with you so that you know what to expect. Depending on the procedure, you may spend a few days in our guest house. If a stay in the guest house is not included in your surgery, you can book that as an extra.
You can continue your HRT treatment before, during and after your FFS. You will receive an anti-thrombotic injection the day before surgery to prevent blood clothing. We prefer you to continue taking your hormones because FFS is emotionally already perturbing enough without messing with your hormone balance.
Only for implant surgery of the buttock and hips we ask to stop one week before the surgery. The day after surgery you can continue your HRT treatment. This because this type of surgery implies some immobilisation (obliged) after the surgery. In this case the risk for blood clots is higher.
You still have another question? Feel free to ask! We will answer your question and if generally applicable add it to the FAQ of this page.
